La Dent Blanche is located in the picturesque town of Hérménce and 19 minutes away from Sion; the capital of Valais. The location combines the qualities of both Val d'Hérens and Les 4 Vallées.
The south-east orientation ensures sunlight well into the late afternoon, even during winter. Valais offers more than 300 sunny days annually and the altitude often puts one above the rain clouds.
In winter you can ski right to your doorstep. The ski lift takes you to the white paradise of "les 4 Vallées", one of the most beautiful ski areas in Switzerland. This is where Bruson, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon play their part: a unique domain all year round, in winter this nature reserve becomes a snow paradise.410 kilometres of ski slopes, hundreds of kilometres of mountain bike trails, hiking trails, playgrounds and breath taking panoramas with peak of Mont Ford 3330 m. In the valleys you will find beautiful cross-country skiing trails, clear lakes and many fruit and vineyards.
In the valley, the gate to Val d'Hérens (Eringer Valley), is formed by the famous earth pyramids of Euseigne, steep stone towers crowned with rock boulders. Val d'Hérens with its charming mountain villages such as Evolène, Les Haudères or Arolla, preserves the old Valaisian traditions. The large dam wall of the Grande Dixence is located in the side valley of Val d'Hérémence. No less than 250 kilometers of hiking paths and more than 100 kilometers of mountainbike trails surround the village in the center of the valley.
