MEIRINGEN IN THE HASLITAL
Meiringen is located in the Haslital in the geographical center of Switzerland, embedded in the famous Grimsel, Susten and Brünig Alpine passes in the Bernese Oberland. The Haslital stretches from Lake Brienz to the Grimsel and Susten passes.
Meiringen lies at 600 meters above sea level in the midst of an imposing mountain world. The village with an urban character has 4,800 inhabitants and is the capital of the Oberhasli district.
